Yesterday and Today....

It's Eugene.  I'm....I really don't know what to do with this blog or  how to type this, or even what I'm going to do now...and I'm not talking about the blog.  I suppose I should keep the blog running in order to keep you guys updated on...on Rapunzel.
My entire family was decimated within hours.

Yesterday evening, around six, Anna came over to our side of the table.  For this to make any sense, I guess I need to add that Jordan had been particularly fussy today.
"I thought I'd let you know that Tangled Fan will be coming anytime now to get the kids.  I told her you guys obviously don't take care of them...since that baby is crying ALLLL the time.  Just thought I'd let you know, since she tends to be really abrupt with these things."
Rapunzel whirled around to stare at her.  She had been pacing, trying to get Jordan distracted.  We both gave her a wide-eyed, horrified stare.
"What?  You...you're kidding, right?  No.  Tangled Fan knows we take care of the girls.  She wouldn't--"
"You know that she's very picky about who gets kids, because she doesn't want them to be uncared for."
"Rapunzel, go.  Go with the girls.  I'll come along with Jordan in a few minutes, okay?  Take them where you know they can't be found, and stay."  I came to my senses.
She overlapped me.   "You good for nothing, sick--"
I snagged her shoulder.  "Listen to me.  I'll handle this, you go with the girls.  Run!"
She gave Anna a look of pure hatred --one I had never seen, and quite honestly, it scared me.  She dropped the look for a second and glanced back at me.  "I have to--"
"Don't waste your time messing around and looking for a fight.  GO!"  I pulled Jordan from her arms, and she promptly scooped the other two girls up before rushing off.
I turned back towards Anna.  "What were you thinking?!"
"I'm sick of you guys having such a PERFECT life.  You need to face reality, and know that life isn't easy for all of us."  she nodded three or four times, so sure of herself.
"You don't even know the half of it," I spat.  She and I engaged in a staredown, and I would have won if I hadn't heard a shrill, bloodcurdling scream.
In a matter of minutes, my wife had made it with the girls to the top of the shelving unit across the room.  Casey was disappearing behind some of Tangled Fan's bigger dolls - the 18 inch dolls-, but Rapunzel had slipped, I guess, and she and Audrey were now dangling off of the top of that monstrous thing.
I sucked in a breath, staring...horrified... I yelled for her to hold on, but just as I did so, she literally threw Audrey up onto the top of the unit...lost her grip...and fell.
I tried to run, but Anna tried to stop me.  I shoved past her, with Jordan in one of my arms, and I raced to catch my girl....but I didn't get to her in time.  I watched as she cracked her head off of the middle shelf, and then hurtled through the air, unconscious.

I'll never forget the resounding crack that she made when she hit the floor.

Everything around me went silent.  I went numb.  I tried to keep from screaming, because I didn't want to upset Jordan, who was already crying.  I staggered over to my wife, hiding Jordan's face in my shoulder.
Was she even alive?  Suddenly, Tangled Fan's shadow loomed over us, but she didn't seem to notice the three of us on the floor.  She was focused on the girls above.
"NO!  Don't...Don't step on us!"  I shouted, trying to shield Rapunzel and Jordan both with my own body...whatever good that would do.
She jumped back, and bent down.  "I came to take the girls on a--"
"I KNOW!  We'll talk about that later!  She...she..." I gestured, and she immediately scooped her up. She didn't say a word, but she took the girls, too.  As she wrestled Jordan from my arms, I pleaded.  "Don't-don't take the girls, please....please, just..."
With that, she walked away.  Rather, she strode away angrily.
I stood alone on the floor for I don't even know how long, not moving an inch, but Zelia came tearing over to me sometime when it was getting dark.
"What on earth happened?!"
"I-I..." I stared at her, alarmed.  I couldn't coordinate my thoughts, I couldn't even think straight --
"USE YOUR WORDS, MORON!"  she got in my face, and I stumbled back a step, tripped over some piece of junk on the floor, and almost fell.
"She-she...s-she...." I stuttered until I was able to get the whole thing spat out.  I won't tell you what all I said, my dialogue was full of stuttering and stupidity, and you know what happened, anyway.
Once I'd told her what I knew, she grabbed my shirt sleeve and hauled me off, in hot pursuit of Tangled Fan.  I got my act together and helped her open the door, and we made a run for it.  Down the hallway, skid to a stop...look around.  Start yelling for someone.
Luckily, Tangled Fan was the first to hear us.
"What...how did you guys-"
"Take us to see Rapunzel, now.  And give the girls back!" Zelia wasn't afraid to yell at her.
They went back and forth for some time, and I even got into it with Tangled Fan, but finally, she took us to the craft room.
"I'm keeping a hold of the girls, because Hans and Anna were quite adamant that you and Rapunzel weren't caring for them.  While I can't believe either of you would do anything to them, I'm taking every precaution.  And as for Rapunzel...she's lucky to be alive right now, but she's not out of the woods yet.  She should be awake sometime soon.  If she isn't, there will be memory loss...or worse.  I'll tell you already, if she doesn't wake up in twenty-four hours, she might not live.  Nothing's broken from what I can tell, but I can't tell if anything's hurting her, because she isn't awake yet to tell me.  And there could be something broken or snapped off in the inside, too--you guys aren't completely hollow in there."
Zelia and I fought her about the kids' 'mistreatment', and she finally relented, once Zelia told her about Anna and Hans doing anything to be jerks to us.  I won't include the argument...it's just drama.  The important thing is that we got Tangled Fan to understand, and we got the kids back.  Now, my wife just had to wake up.
She--Tangled Fan-- finally set us both down on the table that she had set my wife.  She was bundled in a couple of blankets despite the warm-ish weather; maybe because of shock?  I don't know if us dolls can go through shock...

All I could see of her was her horribly pale face.  Her eyes were closed; her lips dry and slightly blue.  I knelt beside her and promptly broke down.  Zelia put a hand on my shoulder, but it was just so she could lower herself beside me.
"She...she looks bad, doesn't she..." it wasn't a question that her sister asked.  I glanced away from my wife to look at her sister, and she herself was pale, her eyes filled with fear.
I realized then that Tangled Fan was still there, and I tried to regain my composure.  "Wh...when will she be awake?"
She bit her lip.  "She should've been awake ten minutes ago."

For the second time that day, every sound faded away.  I could see her and Zelia talking, but I couldn't hear them.  I turned back to my wife and I didn't look away from her for a second.  My insides were churning, and I don't think I've ever felt so much fear in my life.
After what seemed like an eternity, none other than Anna came down.  Zelia stomped off, saying she needed a break.  Gee, thanks for the help there, sis-in-law.  Just what I wanted - just who I wanted to talk to.
She didn't even get to say a single thing.  She came over, took one look at my wife, and gasped.
"Yeah.  You did this."  I stood up, slowly ripping my eyes away from her to look at the redhead.  I could feel the fury towards her surging.  "You did this.  You don't know what that girl has gone through.  You don't know the half of it.  She's gone through so much more than you ever have.  Than you ever WILL.  And you have to go and try to ruin our lives!  Well, I hope you're happy--"
"Oh, hush up.  I just heard what happened, and I wanted to see her, don't flip--"
"You WILL NOT make me 'hush up'!  You want to see her?  FINE!  Look at her.  LOOK at her!  See what you did?  Her skin is pale, her lips are turning blue.  She's been unconscious for hours, and if she doesn't wake up in less than 24 hours, she will DIE.  Because of YOU and your little jealous self, her life could be thrown away, LITERALLY.  The kids you tried to take away because she doesn't have it hard enough in life?  They'll be without parents for goodness-knows-how-long, and they'll know that their mommy is dead...because of a selfish, worthless act by someone who is nothing but a little, jealous pest!"  My voice rose until I was yelling, and that girl just gave me a wide-eyed stare of pure terror.
She didn't say a thing, she just ran off and left, just like the selfish cretin she was.
I let my breathing slow, and then resumed my position beside my wife.  I watched her for any sign of life aside from her shallow breathing, and  I saw none.

My girl was out for hours.  Tangled Fan left, went to bed, came back...and said that it had been approximately fourteen hours, and that I may as well just leave, but I refused to leave Rapunzel's side.  Shortly after, she woke up.
As soon as her eyes fluttered open, the fear melted away.  She was okay.  She was going to be okay.

But then, as she looked around silently, her eyes filled with uncertainty and worry.
"Who...where'm I...an' who are all of you...?"  Her voice was gravelly and faint; slightly slurred.
"You fell off of the top of the shelving unit...you're okay now.  We're in the craft room," I told her.  I wanted to touch her, but I was so scared I would hurt her..
"Wai-it...you're not...Flynn?  Wh-ere's Flynn?"
My heart dropped as she looked around.  I could tell she was getting scared.  "You're...you're fine -- just take it easy, okay?"
I glanced back at Zelia, who was staring a hole through her sister.   I could tell she was having a hard time processing this.  I was, too.  Tangled Fan scooped us up and took us away from her.
"She doesn't remember anything.  It seems to me that she can only remember the time she was still dating Flynn; nothing after.  We'll have to break the news to her, but I don't think it bodes well for your marriage.  And...I'll keep the girls.  I would let you care for them, but I think it's too stressful of  a situation on all accounts; I'm sorry."
"Please...they're all I have left," I cried.  "Let me keep the girls...Zelia...Zelia would help care for them...wouldn't you?"  she nodded, but Tangled Fan shook her head.
"It's too stressful of a situation, like I said."
We both fell silent.
She took us back, and Rapunzel was sitting up, staring at us.
"I'm Tangled Fan, and this is Eugene and Zelia," Tangled Fan introduced, setting the two of us back down.
"H-hello...but who are you, really?  And where am I?" She was somewhat perkier, and I'm not sure how she could be perkier.
"Tangled Fan here bought you off of the Internet.  Flynn's a total jerk, he broke up with you prior.  He actually used you to get the attention of another girl --unbeknownst to you, but you don't remember because when you were taken out of your shipping box and set up on a shelf, you tripped, fell, and got knocked out pretty bad.  And I'm your sister, but you probably don't know or remember that either.  And that's that, then!"  Zelia stormed off, and I gaped at her.
"W-wh...what?"  her eyes filled with tears.  "Flynn's...gone?  I loved...I loved him..."
I tried to keep from bawling myself. "I'm so sorry.  Y-your name's Rapunzel, right?  I'm so sorry, Rapunzel."
"Yeah..." she refused to make eye contact, and I could tell she was feeling shy and insecure, so I backed off. Let me tell you...having your wife wake up from being unconscious for so long and having her forget everything is...pure...horror...
Tangled  Fan moved in to check over her, and I waited, standing awkwardly in the distance as she talked to Rapunzel.
When they were done, Tangled Fan told me that she was surprisingly unharmed from her major fall, and aside from her head hurting where she hit it on the shelf, she was alright.  One of her arm joints may be just a smidgen looser, but other than that...she's okay.  How that girl survived that and came out of it with just a bump to the head...I'll never know. She'll never know, either.

After awhile, she took both of us and set us on the floor in her room.
Well.  Talk about awkward.
"Um...what's your name again?  Sorry," she ducked her head.  I knew she was embarrassed and distracted.
"Eugene.  And it's fine," I managed a small smile.  "Sorry to hear about Flynn."
A tear slipped down her cheek, and she promptly tried to hide it.  "I don't really know what to think about it all.  I don't think he really...really broke up with me.  I think we were separated or something, and that that girl...Zelia?...is full of it.  No offense, but I think so."
I swallowed, thinking frantically.  "She...she wasn't making anything up.  Flynn send a rather vulgar, nasty email about what happened and how glad you were gone, once he knew where you were headed...I'm so sorry."  I based my response off of the emails she had gotten awhile back from him..so they weren't entire lies.
"How do I know I should believe you?"  she blurted, giving me the stare she'd only ever given me when she was trying to convince herself something wasn't true.
"I'd never lie.   I have nothing to hide, so why would I lie?"
"G-good...good point..." she teared up and looked away.  "I just don't know what to think right now."
Me neither, honey.
"I'm sorry...I hate giving you news like this after all you've already gone through today," I mumbled awkwardly.
"Stop apologizing...you haven't done anything wrong, have you?"
"I guess not...sorry."  I tried to tease, and she gave the smallest smile I think I've ever seen.

We walked in a heavy blanket of quietness for the longest time, until she asked me what other dolls lived here, if any.  I described all of them, where she'd live -- on the other side of the table-- and which dolls to watch out for...basically everyone.  Tangled Fan had mentioned telling everyone to play along and act like she was new, thinking that maybe, somehow, something they'd do would trigger and restore at least some memories.  Punzie was probably overeager to reprise her role as the jerk that would drive her to tears on more than one occasion.
Suddenly, she gasped.  "Pascal!  Ohh...did Pascal come with me?"
"There was a chameleon that came in the box, too.  I took him to my place -- which is right beside where you're staying -- so he wouldn't get lost."  I almost winced when I realized I'd forgotten about him.
"Ohh...thanks," she said.
Silence...again.
When we finally got to the table, I took her to my side of the table first, to pick up Pascal and give her a blanket.  (I gave her mine and I kept hers...call me sappy or weird but I did.) She stood awkwardly, looking around the table.
Tangled Fan, being the sneak that she was, had slipped all the kids' beds and things behind the cutout while we were gone, so it was just the wicker chair and the box.
Please recognize this, please recognize this, please recognize this...
"Here you go," I handed Pascal over and then held out the blanket.
"Thanks," she sighed.  "I guess I need to go meet everyone.  I just...I..."
"You're shy?"
"Yeah."
"I feel for you.  You can stay here as long as you like," I offered.
She bit her lip and fiddled with her hair after she set Pascal on her shoulder.  "That's fine.  I'm cold, shaky, and tired, and I need to get over there - I'm sure you're tired, too!  Tangled Fan told me that you stayed with me the whole time...you and...and Zelia.  Thank you for that."
Why yes.  I was exhausted...but no way was I going to sleep today.
"I'm fine...and you're welcome," I told her, taking the blanket away from her to spread it over her shoulders -- minding Pascal, of course.
"I'm okay--well...thanks."  she gulped and stared down at her feet.  "I-I should go."
"Okay.  Wait--do you want to go for a walk tomorrow?  I can...show you around the place."
She nodded, smothering a yawn with her hand.  "Um...okay.  Bye--and thanks again."
I watched her go around to the other side of the table, and I'm pretty sure my heart shredded.

Tonight, Zelia wandered over.  I stood up from the wicker chair, and asked what was up.
"Everyone's asleep.  She's settled in okay enough, I guess.  Sat in the corner and stared shyly at everyone...just like she did before."
"She's a mess...." I sighed.  "Is she asleep?"
"Yep...she finally went to sleep.  She said something about you taking her for a walk tomorrow?"
"Yeah...showing her around the place.  I don't know what to do or what to act like or...I just...I can't handle this, Zelia."  I buried my face in my hands, too tired to even cry.
"Hey, dingbat.  Act like yourself.  She fell in love with you once, she'll fall in love with you again.  If you act stiff and weird, guess what?  You won't get your girl back!"  she snapped, but then she softened after a few minutes.  "...I'm sorry.  It's really hard."
"Yeah.  Don't take this the wrong way, but why didn't you tell her the truth?  That she was-"
"Because, Eugene.  How would you like it if you were knocked out, couldn't remember about half a year, and someone comes up to you and is all like 'oh yeah you don't live there anymore.  So and so's a jerk, and you're married with three kids, hi honey'?"
"Good point," I sighed.  "Could I...see her one last time before you go to bed too?"
"She's your wife...ish..." she said.
"Not cool," I grumbled, brushing past her to go to the other side.  She followed me, and pointed out the corner where Rapunzel and Pascal were sleeping.  She was curled up under the blanket, her arm outstretched across the floor; her face was also mashed into the floor.  Pascal was cuddled against her, sleeping hard.
"She looks weird when she sleeps," Zelia whispered, almost snorting in laughter at her sister.
"I think she's...never mind," I mumbled as I took a risk by tucking the blanket up to her chin.  With that, I turned and left abruptly, feeling like I could hardly stand to be there any longer.

Frozen Engagements and Other...Interesting...News...

So....today was interesting.
Deciding that I hadn't seen Anna or Elsa in awhile, this afternoon I decided to see if anyone was interested in going for a walk.
Eugene had already told me to take a day to have some fun, so after I gave him and the girls hugs and 'see-you-later's, I popped up onto the shelf above us.
"Hey, guys!"  I called to anyone who'd listen.  Punzie immediately gave me a look, but I overlooked that.
What I wasn't expecting was to see both Elsa and Anna with ribbons in their hair.
"Hey, sis!"  Zelia said,  but I was too busy staring at the Frozen sisters, eyes wide.
She came over to me, and so I grabbed her wrist and dragged her to a corner of the shelf.
"When'd THAT happen?!"  I whispered, jerking my head in their general direction.
"Two..days ago, I think?"  She said, squinting as she thought.
"Why didn't you tell me - wait.  Why didn't THEY tell me?!  Did they get engaged at the same time?"
"Yeah.  Uh...I'm sorry, I just...Anna...UGH."  Zelia broke off, shaking her head. "Anna immediately pulled me aside and told me to not tell you.  Their big double wedding is going to be the 28th...she invited me, but then added not to tell you THAT, either.  When I asked why, she said it was because you were so - and I quote - 'clumsy, and she didn't want you to do something to distract from their big day'.  Elsa wasn't happy, and Hans and Kristoff weren't pleased, either, but Anna's making sure you don't get invited.  I told her that I wasn't attending the wedding unless you were allowed to come, too."
I felt my neck get hot with pain and anger.  "Why...Ugh, I don't even want to know why I get treated like this anymore...Zelia, you go to the wedding.  You shouldn't-"
"NO!  I refuse to go if she's gonna act like that!"
I took a deep breath, an idea forming in my mind.  "Why don't we go for a walk?"
"Sure...?"  Zelia gave me a confused look.
"But first.."  I walked right over to where Anna and Elsa were sitting with their fiances, planning their double wedding and giggling like crazy.  "Hey, girls...congratulations, by the way!"
Anna gasped, whirling to look at me.  "Oh!  Um, uh...thanks."
"When's the wedding?"  I asked, trying to appear innocent.
"Umm...we haven't decided yet, but we're-"
"February 28th," Elsa broke her off.
"But we didn't plan to invite you, cause you know...with you having the kids and everything now, we figured you'd be too busy."
Elsa gave her a disgusted look before standing up.  "She's lying.  I'm sorry."  Was all she whispered in my ear before she moved away from her sister.
I gave her a quick nod before saying, "Well...you're right.  I am busy, but we still would have come.  Congratulations, though, to all four of you."
Hans mouthed a 'sorry' right before I left the shelf quickly, Zelia hastily following suit.

We were silent until we got to the floor.
"Thanks for telling me the truth, Zelia."  I mumbled.  "I can't believe this."
She shook her head.  "I don't, either.  Of all the people...you know what?!  Anna doesn't deserve your attendance at that wedding, anyway!  Elsa might, but not Anna!"
I shrugged my shoulders up to my ears, willing my churning emotions to quiet.  "I'm trying to not get mad, but it's really hard.  I should be used to this anyway."
"No, you should never get used to-"
"Weeeelll, I did.  I shouldn't be surprised, anyway.  But regardless.  I'm over it.  I'm done.  Why don't you go to the wedding so you can give me a good insider report on it?"
"I'm sure it will stink and be boring, plus I don't want  to go if you're not allowed to go."  Zelia said adamantly, and then we basically just walked in silence for awhile.  My mind was too muddled to say anything, and I was afraid I was going to cry if I said anything.  "Well, I'm going back.  You coming?"
"Nahh...you go on ahead.  Thanks again, for being honest.  And for coming for a walk," I gave her a convincing grin, and she gave me a look that told me she read right through my brave face, but she nodded and left.

I walked for awhile after Zelia left.  I needed to have some time alone to think and I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to cry -- I didn't want to cry in front of the girls, nor did I want to in front of Eugene...especially over something so silly and idiotic!

Hm, right.
I'd made it about halfway across the room when I heard footsteps rapidly approaching me from behind.  Then, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned quickly to see none other than my husband.
"Eugene!"  I gasped, hoping he hadn't noticed I'd been crying.  "Wh...what are you doing here?  Where are the girls?  How'd you find me?"
He left his hand on my shoulder.  "Zelia came back, immediately telling me that I should hunt you down and talk to you.  And she offered to watch the girls for us for as long as we wanted, so there is absolutely NO hurry.  What's wrong?"
"Nothing."  I said, a little too fast.
"Well, there's obviously something.  Let's see.  You never go for unexplained walks, your sister was worried about you, you look distressed, and your eyes are rimmed with red.  I'd say there's something wrong."  I sighed, and turned me so he could look me in the eye, setting his other hand on my shoulder, too.  "Tell me.  Please?"
"It's stupid.  You'll laugh at me for this..." I trailed off, but then I dove into the whole spiel.  About how Anna hadn't told me, but she'd instead told my sister.  How she'd lied to my face, basically.  That she didn't want me at the wedding because she knew I'd become the center of attention...because of my awkwardness.  "And do you finally see why I can't stand myself?  I bet you always thought that I was overreacting when I said that sooner or later, everyone ditches me because of my awkwardness.  Well, I wasn't!  I wish I wasn't this way.  If I weren't so awkward, maybe I could actually have a friend or two.  And you...you are the one doll who's stuck with me the longest, and quite frankly, I'm sorry you have to have a wife like me.  You could've done so much better  - with some pretty doll who's smart and pretty, elegant, graceful...and you end up with frumpy, awkward old me for the rest of your plastic life.  You deserve more.  You're so perfect, and...then there's me." I finished my rant, which had lasted a surprising amount of time.

He swallowed...took a deep breath...and thought for a minute.  "You know, Rapunzel...while I'm a bit mad at Anna for being like this...and I can completely understand your angst....I don't really know how to word this, so bear with me, and I'm sorry if I offend you, but this has been a long time coming, and I feel that this is the appropriate time to tell you this.  You're blind, my dear girl.  You are blind as a bat.  All you see is...is minor imperfections and dolls who don't like you.  But at the same time, you can see the best in other dolls.  You need to start seeing the best in yourself-"
"Don't you see?  I can't - I can't because there's not much good IN me!"  I broke him off, to which he gave my shoulders a gentle shake, telling me to listen.
"NO.  There you go again!  Let me tell you this, Rapunzel.  You need to pay more attention to the fact that your sister loves you, your daughters both love you, and I love you!  Do you really need to focus on the past; on dolls that were only temporary, untrue friends?  No.  You don't.  And you'll only bring yourself down more by doing so.  And..and you say I'M perfect?!  To most, I'm about as imperfect as it gets!  I'm shy, I'm awkward at times, I'm not the 'bad boy' type, and oh, let's not forget about how bad I am with words!  And yet you think I'm perfect.  And YOU - most dolls see you and see your awkwardness, your shyness, and your quietness...and they don't like what they see.  But when I look at you...I see perfection.  Your daughters see perfection - in different ways, of course.  Your sister sees perfection.  Well..maybe not perfection, but she still loves you, and you can't deny any of this.  You don't see the beauty in yourself.  You might not be all made up and bold like the others, but it's what's on the INSIDE that counts.  And you're pretty on the outside to boot - which is a rare combination.  When I-I...when I see you...what you don't see is your sweet smile.  Your big green eyes, full of curiosity and kindness.  How you stood up for Elsa when Anna was being nasty to her.  The love pouring from your eyes when you hold our little girls.  The adorable way you laugh and cover your eyes after you've done something silly or awkward.  And you have to be a pretty special person to love me, and to love and accept your sister, especially after what she did.  Let alone not totally wig out on Anna earlier...  I could go on, but I won't.  And don't you ever - I repeat, EVER - apologize for marrying me, based off of your 'imperfections' or 'appearance'.  Rapunzel, you're the b-best thing that's ever happened to me -- you and the girls -- and I don't know w-what I'd do without you...any of you...and it drives me purely MAD that you think so low of yourself, and I wish I could show you how much we all love you, and that you don't need to, nor should you, focus on the negatives in life!"

After his incredibly lengthy speech, he took a deep breath, huffing.  I wasn't sure what to make of what he'd just said.  When his brown eyes held mine in an intense, compassionate gaze, the wheels turned in my head.  I'd spent all my life trying to please everyone; trying to hide who I was.  Trying to be elegant and graceful, un-awkward, just so I could be accepted.  And after Eugene came around, I stopped hiding myself from everyone.  Sure, this caused so much grief in my life that it wasn't even funny, but geesh.  Recently, I've been so focused on those who didn't like me...when I hadn't even stopped to think about Zelia, Jordan, Audrey, and Eugene loving me for who I was and accepting me.  Why had  I been focusing on everyone else for so long, when I could've been happy and oblivious all this time?  I knew it was a habit from previous homes, but I really needed to drop that habit.
My eyes filled with tears as this sunk in, and I grabbed my husband into a tight hug, burying my face into his shoulder.  He hesitated, but then held me close, placing a few kisses in my hair.  We just stood in one another's embrace for a little bit, until I pulled away.
"Thank you for...um...that speech.  You've hit the nail on the head, and yeah, I'm blind.  I'm sor-"
He pulled  me close again, giving me an impulsive, gentle kiss.  "Don't apologize, okay?"
I nodded.  "I ever tell you how much I love you?  I probably haven't told you enough."
"Hmm..." he gave me that adorable grin of his.  "I could stand to hear it again, though.  But, as far as the wedding...want to crash it in our own, shy way?  We'll find out when and where, and watch from afar.  And then you can freak Anna or Elsa out if you talk to them again, and be like 'oh yeah, your wedding was cool'."  He attempted to ease up the mood.
I giggled, giving him a shove.  "Absolutely not.  You're such a goofball."
"You wouldn't love me any other way - admit it," he winked as we started to head for our shelf.
I wrapped an arm around his waist, feeling relieved after our talk.  "No...I wouldn't.  Thanks for the talk."
"It make you feel better?  I was a bit worried to tell you, because I figured there was a fifty-fifty chance - either you'd have THIS reaction, or you'd blow up in my face."  He put an arm around my shoulders and squeezed, and we stayed quiet for the rest of the walk back to the shelf.
As soon as we came back to our shelf, Zelia gave me a knowing look, likely meaning that (since it was around eight), the girls were asleep.
I nodded, and she quietly came over.
"He talk to you?"  She asked in a whisper.
"Yeah," I said quietly. "Quite the speech, but one I really needed."
She surprised me by giving me a tight hug.  "I love you, sis.  I should've told you about them before-"
"It's fine.  Love you, too," I told her, returning her sisterly embrace.
"See you tomorrow."  She said, and then she left.

Whew..Okay.  Soo...What do I do now?  Do I try to figure out what's bugged Anna, or do I take Eugene's advice, let it go, and just focus on those who care about me?  Hmmmph....

Accident Part 2 And The End of the Sisterly Tensions

Part two of yesterday:  (Read Part 1 HERE unless you wanna be really, really confused.)
Tangled Fan came back down after awhile and brought me back to him. He was still out, but by
the time she was done with her second excruciatingly long examination, Eugene was starting to come to. She quickly administered a wee bit of children's Tylenol, which made him go right back to sleep.
After she'd done that, she turned to me. "It seems to me that the fall probably did something to his legs. They seem a bit more loose than usual, but I'm sure he'll still be able to walk. He might take a little bit of rehab, but I don't think it will affect his walking much, if at all. He'll be fine. And as for the head injury -- don't worry, I heard you guys yelling in there, so I have a good idea of what happened -- he'll be okay. Luckily, he didn't seem to sustain any head injuries from falling or getting punched - this'd be a whole different story if he had been. I want you to keep an eye on him, though, okay? Once he wakes up, I'll do another examination of him and then we'll see about letting you go back upstairs."
A shiver shot through me as I thought about the idea of him being permanently handicapped, and I mumbled a thank you. She nodded, went to go get a few blankets for us, and then left again. She also brought Pascal down...thankfully.

And so I waited. And waited. And waited.
I also beat myself up. If I would've been a little stronger...if I hadn't have gotten into that fight...if I had had better reflexes...Ugh.

Finally, he woke back up. I was at his side in a heartbeat.
He glanced around, confused, but then he saw me and tried to sit up.
"No, no, no. You'll get dizzy. Lay back down, okay?" I told him, resting my hand on his shoulder.
He started to nod, but then he caught himself. "Wh-" he broke off to clear his froggy throat. "What happened?"
"Kristoff punched you...and you fell off of the dresser." I said. "You remember the fight?"
"Yeah," he said.
We stayed in awkward silence for a few minutes, and I started to rub at my arm, which was starting to really ache from trying to haul Eugene back up to safety.
Noticing, he asked if I was okay. How had he even seen me rubbing at it? It's not like I was dramatically rubbing at it! Alrighty then, Mister Hawk-eyes.
"I'm fine," I reassured him, and he gave me a small smile. I wanted to hug him, but I was afraid I'd hurt him...!

By the time Tangled Fan came back down, we were both about ready to go to sleep, and it was soo dark down here...dark and cold!
She got him to walk, and examined him alll over again. I could tell he was embarrassed by the extent of her examination, but oh well.
The final report was that he WOULD need to take it easy, and gave me a physical therapy-esque idea of what to do for him. Then she took us all back upstairs, setting us (thankfully) on our old shelf.
Tangled Fan had a few long boxed sets of books on that shelf, which I was easily able to tip on their sides to make a nice bed up off of the floor...that was the only way we would be able to lay down! I would set them back up in the morning.

When we were alone again, I made sure Eugene was comfortable and I probably went a mite mother-hen on him. When I was done obsessing [for a little while], Eugene urged me to come to bed.
Without needing another invitation, I went to sit by my husband, but I didn't lay down. I sighed as I thought about how lucky it was that he hadn't gotten hurt any worse. I didn't realize I was staring at him...whoops.
"Uh oh. I know THAT look," he told me. "That's the same look you gave me the last time I fell off of something and got myself hurt. C'mere."
I tried to laugh in order to lighten up the mood. "I won't do anything stupid this time, I promise," I told him.
He grinned. "Okay, but c'mere anyway."
I shrugged my shoulders up to my ears, wanting to, but suddenly being afraid of accidentally bumping him in a sore spot or something. "I-I was thinking about sleeping on the wicker chair-" I told him.
He read through that. "Hon. I promise to you...I'm not horribly sore. My legs hurt, yeah, and my back, but other than that, I'm fine. And I want my wife."
My heart squeezed and my eyes teared up, for whatever reason, and he stretched an arm out for me. I caught his grimace, though.
"You said-"
"My arm just hurts a bit. Don't know why-"
I broke him off. "That was the arm I caught you with, when you fell. I tried to kee...keep you from falling, but I couldn't. I wasn't strong enough...I'm sorry." I told him, almost losing my composure.
"Ahh...I get it. I bet your arm hurts even more, huh?" He suddenly looked concerned for me.
"I'm fine-" I told him, but he caught me, chuckling.
"Right."
I tried to disagree wtih him, grinning at him, but I trailed off. Why lie? He already knew the truth, anyway.
"Don't try to disagree with me on this one, babe. You won't get anywhere." He gave me a smile. "Now..c'mere."

I accepted his offer this time, curling up on my side to face him. He was laying on his back, uncomfortable laying any other way, but he pulled me close to his side.
"I love you," I told him quietly, resting my head hesitantly on his chest. "And I'm just really glad you're okay." I hated that my voice cracked at the last word.
"Don't get yourself upset, okay?" he whispered.
"No promises," I shot back, and he chuckled, holding me tight. I felt my eyes tear up as I thought about the fact that he could have very well been severely injured. I tried to swallow my tears, hoping he wouldn't notice. When I accidentally loosed a sigh that turned shuddery, he rubbed my forearm comfortingly.
"Hey. Don't cry...don't get upset. I'm fine-"
"But you could've gotten hurt a lot worse, and like Tangled Fan said, you might have to deal with your loosened leg joints forever!" I pulled away from him, sitting up.
Grimacing, he tried to sit up, too, but I told him not to. Against my requests that he lay back down, he sat up.
"Let's talk...okay?"
"No, it's...I'm just being dumb...you need rest. Get some rest, okay? I'll be fine. I just...I'm being ridiculous."
He gave me a calculating expression before he shook his head carefully. "What's so upsetting this time?"

I started to ignore his question, insisting he go to sleep, but then I heaved another shaky sigh. "You'll think it's stupid. I just...I blame myself for not being able to keep you from falling. For partaking in the fight to begin with. And I j-just don't know what I'd do without you!" I broke down, and immediately felt humiliated for it. How pathetic could I seriously be?
I expected him to laugh, but he didn't. "Look at yourself...and look at me. No wonder you couldn't keep me from falling, especially if you were hanging from a drawer handle! And you know...you were just trying to stand up for Elsa. Kris didn't have to react in the way that he did, and Anna surely didn't, either. And honey, don't worry about that kind of stuff. It's uncontrollable. Okay?"
I rubbed at my nose before I reached over to pull him into a hug.
"It's just-"
"Hard to not worry?" He finished for me.
"Mhm," I said, pressing my face into his shoulder (making sure it was the one opposite the arm I'd yanked on.)
He held me close for a few moments, until I pulled away from him to give him a kiss. When I pulled away, a twinkle was in his eye. He gave me that special grin of his. "Feeling better?"
I gave him another quick hug, telling him again that I loved him.
Probably without thinking, my hubby flopped down onto his back, and then hit his shoulder....hard. He grimaced, and I immediately offered to get Tangled Fan.
"No, no, no. C'mere, go to sleep." He told me, and as soon as I laid down, he pulled me close, sighing tiredly. "And...don't blame yourself, get worried, or anything. Love you, and good night."

This morning, I was still nestled up against my hubby. He was still sleeping, but a couple minutes after I woke up, he did, too. When I knew he was awake, I flopped onto my belly so I could see his face. "How are you feeling?"
He chuckled at my promptness. "My arm's feeling less sore. How about you?"
I rolled my eyes at his skirting around my question. "That's good about your arm, but your legs...your head...?"
"They're fine. I'll have to get up and walk to see how my legs are." He sighed, and I saw a hint of fear cross his eyes at the thought.
I faceplanted my head carefully onto his chest, heaving a melodramatic sigh. "Can't we just stay here and just not get up or anything? No injuries can be caused that way."
He laughed, stroking my hair. "Sounds good to me."
I pulled my head up to grin at him, and he winked before he stretched. I stood up and held a hand out to him, which he accepted.

Almost as soon as he stood, he bobbled on his hip joints.
He caught himself, though it took him a few minutes to get perfectly balanced. I stepped to the other end of the shelf, away from him, watching him tensely as he went to take his first steps since he fell.
A hard few steps they were. Taking an agonizingly long amount of time, he was able to get his legs working. Randomly, his joints would give out on him, and he'd bobble; almost fall down, even. I could see the frustration on his face, and it tore at my heart. I made myself keep my composure, though, for his sake. And then he tried to take a longer stride, and almost fell. I hurried to his side, steadying him, and he gave a disgusted huff. When he eventually got himself standing straight again, I put a hand on his shoulder.

"You alright?" I asked, studying his face. A mix of fear and disgust were visible on his features.
"Yeah." He said shortly, but I knew he wasn't mad at me. He was silent for a few moments before an entirely horrified expression plagued his usually happy face.
"What, honey?" I asked, searching his eyes.
He turned his head away from me, but I still saw the tear streak down his cheek. I wiped it away, cupping his cheek in my hand so I could pull his face around to look at me again.
"I-I....I'm just so frustrated right now, is all. What if I'm always like this? I can't be who I want to be. I won't be able to be a very good husband. I won't be a good father. I'm useless! I am-"
I broke him off. "Hey. This is just the day after your injury. I'm sure your joints will get better-"
He broke me off in return. "Don't make assurances you don't know are true."
"It'll be okay. They'll get better, and you know what? You don't have to have perfectly functional leg joints to be a good husband - just knowing you're here for me is enough! And, well...we don't HAVE to start a family..." I trailed off, realizing I shouldn't have said that last part.

He didn't reply. He just took in a shaky breath and refused to meet my eyes, so I reached to pull him into a tight hug.
"It'll be okay. It will be okay. I promise," I told him, and he bent to bury his face in my neck.
I just rubbed his back and embraced him until he pulled away.
Suddenly, he seemed to catch himself. "I shouldn't be upset about this. I need to make sure I'm here for you-"
"Honey, you've been here for me for, like, ever. And over some of the silliest things, too! It's high time that I take a turn and support you."
He loosed a sigh. "But we probably won't be able to go on walks as long or as often, and..."
"Eugene," I laughed in amazement. "I'm just happy that you weren't hurt WORSE! Right now, our outings don't matter. I'm just glad you're still able to walk, period!" I ducked my head, suddenly hoping my earlier incredulous laugh wasn't taken the wrong way.
He tipped my chin up to look at him, and then he stroked my hair a couple of times. "You've got a point. I guess I should be happy I CAN walk at all..."
"Mhm!" I told him, and he carefully bent to give me a quick, gentle kiss. When he pulled away, I gave him a grin. "But, ah...next time I see Kristoff, I'm punching him right in his big, fat nose."
He gave a surprised laugh, wavering on his unsteady joints, and then he pulled me into a hug. "What happened to the shy, sweet girl I married?"
"She went away when her best-friend-slash-hubby got hurt." I played along, and he laughed, holding me a bit tighter.
"Don't make me laugh hard, I'll fall down," he told me. "But, ah...should I be scared of this new girl?"
"Definitely maybe." I shot back, and he started laughing harder. And then he took a step back and stumbled. I grabbed at him, trying to keep him upright, but it just turned out that he fell backwards, dragging me down with him. I landed right on top of him, and gasped.
"You okay?" We asked each other at the same time. And then we laughed. I squirmed off of him, standing up, and reached out to help him up. Once he was steady on his feet, he gave me a thankful grin.

Sortly after, Tangled Fan came back to check on him, but when we both asked (at the same time :P ) about if he would always be like this, she just shrugged, telling us it was too early to tell...but that he needed to keep off of his feet. I didn't like the look in her eye, though, when she'd said it was too early to tell. But we'll see...It'll be a long recovery process, I can tell you that already! Thankfully, Tangled Fan told us that we could just stay on our old shelf again - she'd ended up not using it for what she'd been planning to. Nice of her to tell us this now....Ugh. But regardless.

No later than half an hour after THAT, I heard numberous footsteps and talking.
I hurried to the edge of the deck, and was met by Zelia.  Anna and Elsa, neither looking very pleased, were climbing up behind her.
"Oh!  Um...hey, guys.  Wh-what brings you all up here?  Zelia?"  I stepped back so they could all file on to the deck.  Zelia looked absolutely perturbed.  Ohh boy.
"We are figuring out this STUPID problem, and we're figuring it out  NOW.  I'm sick of the stupid fighting!"  Zelia snapped, shooting a dark look towards Anna. And oh man, she gave it right back.  But I could also see that her angry facade was slipping.
Hmm?  ....
Elsa just looked plain ticked off.
So I gestured them all into the shelf, and Zelia promptly asked Eugene how he was doing.  While he was talking to her - flashing me the occassional 'help me'/terrified look - I tipped the boxes down and tossed a blanket over it so everyone had seats.  I also pulled up Tangled Fan's Hallmark ornament box (Guess what.  The ornament is Tangled-themed.  I bet you never guessed that! xD) and scooched Eugene's chair over a bit (much to his disgust, because he couldn't just get up and move himself.  I made sure Pascal was beside my husband on the chair, and then gestured for everyone to sit.

We all squeezed into chairs.  I sat on the corner of the 'bed', right beside Eugene, and turned to look at the sisters.
"Spill it, girls."
"There is nothing to-"
"Spill.  It."  Zelia glared at them both.  Elsa shrank back, but Anna gave her a defiant glare.
"Please?  As a friend, I'm just worried for you, Anna.  And I'm sure everyone else is.  What's been going on?"
"Noth-..." she broke off and allowed the word to die on her lips before she heaved a huge sigh.  "I didn't want to...to say anything.  Kristoff asked me out on an honest-to-goodness, special date last month.  I freaked out.  I-I just feel like we're going too fast.  I mean, I know you guys got married in just a couple of months, but I don't want to go that fast!  And he...does.  But I'm a-afraid to say anything to him!  So I just kept going along with him and doing whatever he wanted to do.  I was confused, frustrated, and upset, and I got so many headaches this past month, and if anyone even talked to me, I just snapped because I was so stressed.  I thought there'd be no end, or he'd see what the matter was. But the one day...over the weekend..I just...I told him I thought we were moving too fast.  He asked what the problem was, and I told him that I felt we were going too fast, and he...he thought that you and Eugene had told me that, Rapunzel.  And that's...why he was such a jerk.   He wouldn't be convinced otherwise.  I should have fought till he knew that it wasn't you guys who had told me that, but I-I..didn't.  And oh my gosh...I could've ruined you guys!  I could have ruined EVERYTHING.  Rapunzel, I am so, so sorry.  And Eugene-"  About halfway through, she started bawling, but she managed to calm down to apologize.
"It's fine.  It's not directly your fault," he brushed it off.
He was definitely a much better character than I was.  I simply nodded, still mad at Kristoff.

"And sis?"  Anna turned to look at her with a small smile, drying her cheeks.  "I'm sorry for being such a jerk.  I know that how I treated you wasn't right, and I feel horrible."
Elsa gave her a relieved smile, grabbing her into a relieved hug.  "Glad to have you back, sis," she told her.
All of this was heartwarmingly adorable and sweet, and I was so relieved to know what the problem had been, and then...

"There you are!  Good grief, I thought you were just going for a quick walk and when you didn't come back, I got worried..."
Kristoff.  Speak of the devil.
Anna jumped up, and as I eyed him warily, I felt my own blood pressure rising.  And not in a good way.
Eugene elbowed my side, and when I looked down at him, he shook his head.
"Let it go," he hissed quietly at me.

Kris suddenly saw the rest of us, and he glanced around awkwardly.  When his gaze flicked over, then came back and stayed on me and my husband, I jumped up, ready to do something if necessary.  I wasn't sure what to do, but I'd do something.
Eugene grabbed my arm quickly and awkwardly, seeing as he couldn't jump up or move quickly; and then he hauled me backwards.
"Don't.  I can't save you this time," he whispered to me, chuckling.
I sighed, sitting  back down on the bed to watch what was going to take place as Anna meandered over to him.
"Anna..what's wrong?"

She explained everything to him all over again.
We all watched.  She couldn't even meet his eyes, she was so worried.

When she was done, he gave her a pained, yet relieved smile.  "Oh, Anna...I'm so sorry I didn't listen to you and jumped to conclusions.  I'm sorry.  We can take it just as slow as you want, okay?"
She finally met his eyes, giving him a grin.  "Thank you.  And...love you.  I really do, I just.."
"I understand," he gave her a shy smile, and she instantly reached to hug him. As they embraced, I looked away from them to glance at my husband, who had just reached for my hand.
He gave me a wink, and I smiled, wondering if he was thinking about our first hug.  I knew that this wasn't Anna and Kris' first hug, but that's immediately where my mind had gone.
When Anna pulled away from her guy's arms, they both looked around awkwardly.
When Kris looked our way again, it must have finally clicked - about what he'd done yesterday.
He immediately began fretting and looked like he was about to tear up as he profusely apologized, and my amazing hubby was able to quickly accept his apology, wholeheartedly. It took me longer to accept his apology and actually truthfully mean it.  I know I shouldn't be that way, but it was hard.  For me it was, at least...

They all sat and talked for awhile, and by the time everyone left at four, I was absolutely exhausted from talking so much!
When they left, we just sat around quietly for awhile, just appreciating one another's company.  But then I allowed worry to seep in, and I grew a bit restless.

When it was about time to go to bed, I was leaning up against the side of the shelf, biting my lip as I wondered if he'd ever be able to stand or walk without losing his balance. I was trying to not worry, but it wasn't working.

He noticed me, and broke my thoughts by telling me to come over to him.
Snapping out of my worries, I put on a smile and reached a hand out to him. "Ready to go to bed?"
He shook his head. "You were looking lonely and worried over there.  Sit," he told me, patting his lap. My gaze instantly dropped to his legs, even though I tried not to.
I shook my head. "No, I'm fine-" I started to say as I went to do something, anything, else.
He reached for one of my hands, pulling me backwards. I gasped, but he snaked an arm out around my waist, pulling me onto his lap. When I just gave up and sat sideways so I could see his face, he put his arms around me, giving me an affectionate hug.
"I can read through your mask, babe. Don't be worried, okay? Things will work out." He told me, kissing my cheek, and I sighed, leaning my head up against his shoulder.
"I'm just..." I trailed off. "I feel so helpless, because I have to watch you go through this and I can't help you at all, and it just irks me."
He kissed my hair. "You are helping, and you CAN help me. Trust me, just steadying me when I'm unbalanced, and being here for morale support helps."
"I'm not being very good at morale support, though. Look at me, seriously!" I grumbled.
He chuckled, gazing down at me and giving me a gentle grin. "I see a beautiful, sweet girl, that I'm very glad to call my wife, who is simply concerned for her husband."
I rolled my eyes, but my cheeks felt hot and a coy smile teased the corners of my lips. I made a hum of non-commitance, but then reached up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "You need to get to bed. The more you rest your joints, hopefully, the better and quicker they'll heal."
He nodded, and I carefully slid off of his lap. This time, he took my hand.

And then his hip joints stuck in place.
When he tried to stand up, they locked.
I gasped and put my other hand over my mouth as I watched my husband slowly work his way upright. It must've really hurt, because his face held pure concentration and he kept grimacing. I wished I could help him....it killed me to see him struggle, without me being able to help him. :(
As soon as he straightened and he'd gotten himself balanced, I immediately went to his side again, tucking myself under his arm so I could guide him to bed. He moved stiffly, and when he lowered himself slowly down into bed, he made mention that he probably shouldn't have sat around as much today.

"But Tangled Fan said..." I trailed off, not sure what to think. I tried to conceal my shaky hands, since I was still upset about his struggle to stand up, but he noticed them anyway.
"It'll be fine. It'll just take some time, I guess," he reassured me, squeezing both my hands with his.
I nodded and got to work being a mother-hen over him again. I made sure he was comfortable and covered up, and warm (It's been chilly at night..UGH!) and then I asked if he was comfortable. I had thought about getting something to prop his legs up on or something, but I wasn't sure.
He nodded, focused on trying to find a comfortable way to sleep, so I left to brush my hair out and slip into my nightie....and to make sure Pascal was all covered up and warm, too, on his wicker chair. When I got back, I grabbed another blanket and smoothed it out before I sat down.
"Too many blankets, or are you good?" I asked him.
He chuckled over my obsessing, but then he shrugged. "I could be better..." I started to stand up, asking what he needed, but then he snagged my wrist. I glanced down at his eyes, and caught the teasing glimmer in them. "C'mere. Really, c'mere."
I rolled my eyes to let him know that that was one of his less-amusing jokes (as I fought to keep a straight face, because at least he was lighthearted enough TO be joking!) but I curled up beside him. And then I allowed myself to grin, figuring he wouldn't see.
"You act less than amused, yet I see the grin on your face." he pointed out, and my face heated with slight embarrassment and surprise.
I couldn't decide if I wanted to tease him back or be truthful. I decided to go with truthful xD.
Putting an arm securely across him, I gave him a broader grin.
"You teasing just makes me know that you're not, like, deathly ill or anything." I laughed. "Pathetic, I know."
"But that's what I was going for," he told me, pulling me close so he could give me a gentle kiss goodnight.
I gave him a wink when our lips parted. "Well...tomorrow's another day. Hopefully you won't be as unsteady."
He nodded, so I burrowed down into the blankets until even my head was covered, and went to sleep before I could get back to worrying.

1/13/14 and Today....Which was HORRIBLE.

(A quick note...sorry for the lack of pictures.  Blogger's been stupid about uploading pictures and I don't know why..UGH! But anyway.  Onto the post.)

Yesterday was a LONG day.  After our weekend alone (well, with the exception of the two visits from Zelia), we headed back to the shelf.
Back to the old grind.

But something had changed.  Several things, in fact.  Everyone was dead silent and it was so tense up on the dresser that I wondered who would blow first.  Even Hans looked furious.  For Hans, that was something new.  He was normally a happy go lucky kind of guy!
So, eventually I dragged Elsa and Zelia aside.
"Spill it.  What on earth happened this weekend?"  I asked, glancing over my shoulder at Anna.
Zelia rolled her eyes.  "She's been a..a Nazi.  You thought I was bad?  Hah!  And then Piper told Hans that she never was interested in him.  She dumped him and left him hanging.  The whole problem was that he had just PROPOSED to her!"
I gasped, and Elsa nodded.  "It wasn't pretty. There was a fight, him having a fit, as was kind of warranted, after THAT being dropped on him.  Piper flew back into him, and then her sister got into it with BOTH of them.  Kristoff tried to break it up, but they ended up ganging up on HIM and freaking on HIM, which made ANNA get into it, and ....yeah.  Zelia and I beat a hasty retreat when Punzie worked her way into the argument, too.  That all happened around ten last night."
I shook my head in amazement.  "Wow.  That's...I can't believe that.  And I can't belive Piper could do such a thing to Hans!"
Elsa and Zelia nodded, and then Elsa gave me a calculating look.  "How are you...after you found it out?"
"I'm fine, I mean, I feel horrible for Hans, but-"  I said, confused.
"Noo, no no.  I mean...after you found out Zelia's your sister?  Zelia told me."
"OH!"  I exclaimed, embarrassed.  "It's...it was interesting, anyway.  But I'm glad she told me and that she's trying to change."
"If you're mushy about it, I'll be a jerk again," Zelia threatened, and I laughed.
"Yeah, sure."  I told her.  "You don't scare me!"
She laughed quietly, and Elsa grinned.
But then Anna noticed us.
"Ohh, great.  Trouble number one, two, and three are back together."  She said, a mite loud.
I sidled past Elsa and Zelia and tipped my head up, trying to stand tall.  "Anna, please."
"Please what?"  Her tone of voice was taunting, and I knew she was trying to pick a fight.
I wanted to ream her out for trying to start a fight, but I knew that that would be giving her what she wanted.
I rolled my eyes and walked away from her.  I went to go stand with Eugene, but she dogged after me.
"C'mon.  Tell me!  Go ahead!  Or are you too chicken to do it?"  She asked.
That was it.
I whirled around, nearly slamming into her, she was so close behind me.
"ANNA!"  I yelled. "Knock.  It.  Off.  You KNOW what!"  I shook my finger in her face, and her eyes narrowed in anger.
I felt two hands grab me from behind, and I yanked away to see Kristoff, who was trying to pull me away from Anna, most likely.
"And YOU get away from me!"  I growled, even though I grew slightly on edge about Kristoff's behavior.  I know he was just overprotective of his girl, but geez!
"Leave Anna be."  Kristoff said in a quiet, yet angry tone.  Fear suddenly clamped my stomach, and I shoved past him, rushing off of the dresser to the floor.   I needed some time alone.
But as soon as my feet hit the floor, I wondered about Eugene.  I'd rushed past him in my hurry to get away before I either started fighting or crying.  Indecisive as to if I should return, I just sat down up against the dresser and thought for a minute.  Ultimately deciding that my husband was fine and not a completely helpless individual, I stood up and started walking, originally planning to get the iPod and listen to music.
Halfway across the room, I heard rapid footsteps coming my way.  Surprised, I turned to see who it was.
Eugene.  Of course.  I saw his expression of pure worry and fear on his face as his running slowed, only stopping when he was close enough to touch me.
"A-are you okay?  What'd I do wrong?"  He asked, looking as if he wanted to touch me but was half afraid.
Huh?
My brows furrowed in confusion.  "I'm fine, hon.  You didn't do anything wrong, I...I just needed to leave before I either started a fight or started crying."  I reassured him.
His face relaxed.  "I guess you didn't hear me try to stop you as you went past me, then?"
I gasped.  He'd tried to stop me?  Gosh, couldn't I stop being a dork?!  "I am so sorry!  No, I didn't hear you.  I'm sorr-"
"It's fine," he chuckled.  "Why don't we walk for a bit?"
"You're probably tired from all the walking we did earlier.  And it's starting to get dark," I told him, but he shook his head.
"Trust me.  I'd rather be dead tired and walking than be up there right now," he laugh - groaned.  I giggled in agreement, and started walking.  He meandered along beside me, brushing his hand up against mine.  I quickly snagged it before he could move away, and he chuckled.  We walked in companionable silence for awhile, and headed  back to the shelf after we were sure everyone was asleep.
When we crept back up to the shelf and sidled over to our designated sleeping spot, I started getting a mite uncomfortable as I thought about Kristoff.  His new tendancy to act out impulsively when Anna was involved with anything scared me, quite frankly.
I didn't bother with brushing out my hair or getting into my nightie, I just collapsed down on my side, dramatically, and groaned quietly, not looking forward to tomorrow.
Eugene chuckled before he flopped down as well.  "Tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."  I said quietly, grinning to myself when I realized he knew my dismay was to waking up tomorrow and having to deal with THEM again.  "It's been a month, for goodness' sake!  You'd think that they all could have worked out their differences by now!  Something's gotta give.  And...to be honest?  Kristoff's kind of worrying me.  Y'know?"  I'd actually chosen to lay on my side so my back wasn't turned towards EITHER of them.
He was quiet for a couple of minutes, but then whispered for me to 'c'mere'.
I hesitated to turn my back, but I did anyway.  He pulled me up close to his side, and I rest my head on his chest.  "They'll work something out sooner or later, I hope.  And yeah, I agree with you on Kris.  Don't worry about yourself, though.  After his little scene this evening, I will do anything possible to keep ya safe, okay?  I don't think he'd turn agressive, but still.  Don't worry."
"Not okay," I told him.  "If he can do something to me, he can do something to you."
He chuckled quietly. "Like I said...don't worry, hon.  Okay?"
"M'kay..." I sighed, pulling the blanket up over my shoulder and resting a hand beside my head.  A couple minutes later, he stroked the hair out of my face, so I looked up to see his face.  "What?"
He had an adoring grin on his face, which he tried to hide when I looked up.  "Nothin'."
I rolled my eyes at him jokingly.  "Well...do you think we should talk to Hans tomorrow?  He seemed like he needed a buddy today."
"Yup.  Sounds like a plan," he told me, winking.  I nestled a bit closer to him and he tightened his arm around my shoulders accordingly, resting his hand on my head.  For some odd reason, that  just made me feel a lot safer.  I know I'm just being silly, but...ugh.

I wish we would've stayed asleep this morning.
When I woke up, I was in a pretty good mood, and Eugene was already up, quietly stroking my hair.
"Morning, babe," he gave me that special grin of his and cupped my cheek in his hand.
"Morning," I grinned.  "What's up?"
"Why don't we head out early, before THEY are up, anddd watch movies or something on Tangled Fan's laptop?  I can go out and ask her if we can," he told me.
I gave him a wide smile.  "Ohh, yes.  Definitely."  I grinned, reaching to kiss him before I stood up, helping him up while I was at it.  Tangled Fan was still in the room, fortunately, so he just had to go to the bed to talk to her.
Unfortunately, when I was waiting,....EVERYONE got up.  EVERYONE.
When Eugene came back, he said Tangled Fan would have to do something on her computer, but then she would let us have it for the day, and would also bring some DVD's back for us.
While we waited...
Anna, Kristoff, Eugene, and I got into a bit of a spat. Hah. BIT of a spat? Make that a big spat.
Anna was being the usual snob she's been anymore, towards both me and Elsa.  Soon as she woke up, she found something not-so-nice to say. While I'd gotten used to it, I hated to see Elsa building a wall around herself in the manner she was (metaphorically), just because of her sister's nastiness. So...I stood up for her.
About five minutes of exchanging words, Kristoff sided with Anna, as always.
"Back off. Both of you are treating Anna-"
"WE'RE treating Anna poorly? Oh, that's perfect," I snorted sarcastically.
"I don't get what YOUR problem against me is!" Anna yelled at me, her face growing beet red with anger.
"There wouldn't be a problem, if you'd stop being-"
"I am not being anything, Rapunzel! Get it through your thick plastic head, okay? It's NOT me being the jerk!" Anna was yelling so loudly by now that I was surprised Tangled Fan wasn't coming back.
Kristoff took a couple of actually menacing steps towards me. His face was like a dark cloud. I'd never seen him this furious before...he was normally really shy and reserved.
And then I realized how big he was. He could snap me like a twig! And I also noticed how close to the edge of the dresser we all were.
"Get away from me, you huge bully," I growled, so scared I couldn't get my legs to move. His face darkened even more, and I realized how offensive I must have been to him.
Eugene noticed, too. He stepped between me and Kris. "Guys...maybe we all need to-"
Kristoff made his move.
Eugene tried to back up, to step away, and to pull me to safety while he did so.
But just as Kristoff swung to punch Eugene, his boots stumbled onto the edge of the dresser. He had ahold of my arm, so I locked my hand on his forearm, trying to drag him away from it.
But no. Kristoff's punch, as he was blind with anger, connected with its target. Eugene and I both fell.
I managed to grab one of the drawer handles, and I tried desperately to keep ahold of Eugene, who must have been unconscious, or dazed by the punch. I tried...I tried so hard...but his arm slipped away from my hand, and he fell.
I screamed, praying he would land on something that would keep him from getting hurt. Seconds later, I heard him hit the linoleum floor with a hard crack.
I felt like I was going to throw up. Once more, I'd been the cause of him falling. But this time, it was higher up.
I scrambled, trying to get down, and ended up half tumbling, half climbing down the face of the dresser.
Just as I got to the ground, Tangled Fan burst through the door.
"What on earth is going --" she broke off as she saw Eugene.
"H...he-"
"You don't have to explain anything. He looks bad....I'm going to take him to check him out. I'll be-"
"No. Take me, too...please. I need to...I just need to go, okay?" I sobbed as I saw my unconscious husband.
She hesitated, but then she scooped me up and took me with her and Eugene.
Taking us out of her room and down to the 'craft room', she examined Eugene. I paced on the desk nervously. I didn't even have Pascal with me - but oh good grief. What kind of a wife am I, to even be thinking about him, when my husband was badly hurt?!
Ugh... I just can't believe this happened.  I'm so scared.  Right now, he's still out, and I don't know what Tangled Fan's final report is going to be.  She finished checking over him, but all she said was she would let me know later about what was going on.  I'll keep you all updated....

An, Ah...Interesting Revelation 1/10/14

We were sitting on the chair, chatting  and enjoying the peace and quiet yesterday when this happened.  We'd been planning to spend the weekend on the chair, just to get away from all the tension...Hah, little did I know.  Little did I know!
Zelia showed up at the chair, asking me stiffly to come talk for a minute.
Not knowing what to expect, I went. She wordlessly led me down to the floor before turning to me.  Her eyes were troubled.
"There's no easy way to explain this."  She sat down, so I did, too.  But as soon as she sat, she jumped back up and started pacing.  "I was one of the first 2011 Rapunzel doll produced.  I was set on the shelf at the warehouse...right beside you.  They...they told me I was your sister."
WHAT?
I gasped.  The room started spinning.  I jumped up, but, dizzy, I stumbled forward, almost falling.  Zelia grabbed my arms and held me upright.
"I-I don't believe you."  I spat, letting an angry thought come out of my mouth. She was just trying to get me upset, I knew she was!  But then I looked up to see her eyes, which were distraught.
"No.  I'm...just...hear me out.  I-I...you left to go to your first home.  I didn't go with you.  I spent days hoping I'd go to the same home as you did, but..I didn't.  I...I just wanted to find my sister!  I can't even tell you how much I wanted to be with you, to get to know my own sister...but I couldn't.  I have been in almost ten homes before I came here.  For the first four homes, I was always hopeful to find you.  But I never did.  I...you know how horrible I was to you?  I...I started putting that on as an act to cover up my discouragement and sadness that I would likely never see my sister.  And then...when you came...and Piper and Emma had already warned you about me...imagine how upset I was to see that I'd become such a monster that even you were scared of me.  And...so I couldn't shake off the personality I'd adopted.  Until...actually, after I had to watch you go through your breakup with Eugene...that was when I decided I needed to tell you.  I told everyone...Anna, Elsa, Piper, Emma, Punzie, even Kristoff and Hans..but nobody believed me.  And then I told your husband about it..the day after you got married.  I thought he would tell you, but...he didn't, apparently.  So...hey, sis."
I didn't know what to think.  All this time....all those horrible pranks and name-calling...and she was my SISTER.  What hurt even more was that everyone else had known, and yet nobody had had the sense to tell me.  Not even my own HUSBAND.  I didn't know whether to be mad or upset.  Or scared.  I was so confused.
Zelia stood there, watching me.
"I..I can't...I just...this is just too much.  It's all true?"
She nodded, and I could see her composure slipping away.  "I'm so sorry for how I acted towards you, Rapunzel, I seriously am!"
I nodded dumbly.  I couldn't even construct a sentence.
The rest of the few minutes I spent on the floor with Zelia is a fog.  I can't tell you anything more because I can't remember myself.  I only remember climbing back up onto the chair to confront my husband.  Why hadn't he TOLD me?!
I stumbled numbly back up onto the chair, my brain and stomach churning.
Eugene met me at the edge of the chair.  "Did she...uh...tell you?"
I pushed past him, covering my mouth as I tried to think of what to say.
I was mad, sad, upset, horrified, and confused, all at the same time.  Finally, I nodded.
"She told me.  Sh-she also told me that you knew.  You knew since the day after we got married.  They ALL knew!"
He took a step towards me, but I put my hand up.
"What's...?"
"You knew, Eugene.  You've known.  I have been your wife for over a month.  And you didn't think that that was important for me to know?!"  I heard my voice get louder.  "Eugene, you don't just hide that!  Why on earth did you?  And....and..." I trailed off as a bigger thought pushed its way into my already frazzled mind.
"I wanted to keep you from getting hurt.  I knew that if I told you, this is what would happen...so I figured that I'd save you that much heartache-"
"And instead, you only created more."  I informed him, and he gave me an expression of sheer remorse.  "Wh...which only makes me wonder what else you could hide.  If you could hide a secret like THAT, Eugene....you know you could hide just about anything!  I-it even makes me wonder if this"-I waved my hand between us-"is real."
His eyes misted over.  "Ohh, honey...I am so, so sorry.  I-" his voice cracked, and he reached for me.  I tried to back up, not wanting to be touched, but I bumped into the back of the chair.  I turned my head away, to give him the idea that I didn't want bothered, but he reached to cup my chin in his hand anyway.
Before he could say anything, I pulled away.  "I'm going back to the dresser.  I don't care if you come with me or not."
He gave me a sad look, opening his mouth to speak, but I brushed past him.
I rushed off of the chair, ignoring him when he called my name.
In my rush and during my run back to the dresser, I even forgot Pascal.  When I finally realized that, I wondered if I should go back to get him.  But then I decided against it.  I'd go back for him once I'd cooled off.
And then a hand grabbed my arm.
I screamed, terrified, and wheeled around to see none other than Eugene.
"Let go of me!"  I cried.  I had been so scared and surprised that the tears I'd been fighting started streaming down my cheeks.  I tried to twist and yank away, but he was too strong.
"No.  I won't.  Just...just hear me out, okay?" He told me frankly.  I would have been upset by his sharp 'no', but then I looked up into his face.  I kept fighting him, but once I met his eyes, his grip loosened, and I jerked away from him.  His eyes were rimmed with red and full of pain.  I didn't even try to run.  When he saw that, he cautiously put his hands on my shoulders.
"I didn't...think that you'd get this upset if you found out..it's not like I didn't WANT you to know, but I knew you'd be...be upset if you knew.  I was an idiot to think that.  And it doesn't make much sense, now that I told you."
My anger slowly trickled away.  I couldn't stay mad at him.  I was just...scared.  "You're not an idiot.  I'm j-just...I'm scared that I was tricked again.  Lied to about everything.  That's all I've e-ever really known, and when I met you, you don't know how happy I was to find someone who cared a-about me..and I'm just terrified that all of it was...not true...you know?"  I told my concerns frankly.
I glanced up at his face, and his eyes  caught and held mine in an intense gaze that I couldn't look away from.  He spoke slowly and precisely.  "Rapunzel, I apologize for making you think that.  I apologize profusely.  I...I am so sorry that I didn't tell you.  I truly am...but trust me-" his voice cracked, and he ducked his head down away from my gaze, his face burning red.  "I love you more than words can express.  I know it sounds dumb, and I know you probably don't believe me right now, but...it's true."
He rolled his eyes up to watch my face, and I slowly lost my composure again.  I couldn't believe how dumb I'd been to think he'd been a liar like..like Flynn from my previous home had been.
Burying my face in my hands, I choked on my tears.  "I'm sorry, Eugene..I'm sorry I doubted you...I just...I was so scared...a-and I don't know what to think or do or ANYTHING!"
I felt his arms wrap around me hesitantly, so I leaned into him, and he finally held me tight.  He let me cry out all my frustration and fear out on his shoulder, while he stroked my hair silently until my tears had dried up.
Finally, I pulled my head up to look at him, noticing the bags under his eyes.
I pulled away from him.  "G-go to bed..., please.  You look so tired.  I'll come back to the chair later."
He reached an arm out, resting his hand on my side.  "I'm fine.  But are you?  Okay, that is."
I snorted.  "Would YOU be fine if you found out that Zelia was your sister?"
My husband chuckled quietly.  "No, I don't suppose I would be.  I'm sorry."
Sighing, I shut my eyes for a couple of seconds, my eyes burning from the tears I'd just cried.  "I just...I feel so horrible for doubting you, and for always treating Zelia the way I treated her...and...it's just so complicated!"
He rested his chin on top of my head.  "I know.  Things will get easier to accept and understand, though.  And as far as you treating her the way you did, I think you were basically just defending yourself against how she treated YOU.  So don't get upset about it, okay, sweet girl?"
I nodded, leaning into my husband.  He took the hint and wrapped me up tightly in his arms. Planting a kiss on the top of my head, he nuzzled my hair a moment before whispering into it.  "I'm sorry.  I love you...so, so much.  And don't be afraid to just talk with me about something, okay?  I'd feel better if we talked something out than if...this happens again,"
"Don't, or I'll have to get upset with you.  You're going t-to make me cry again," I tried to keep fresh tears from coming and lighten the mood at the same time.
"Sorry," he chuckled.
"Stop apologizing," I told him, gaining composure and grinning into his shoulder.
"Sorry," he repeated, giving me a silly grin, and despite myself, I laughed as I pulled away from his arms, giving him a playful shove.
"You're terrible.  And you need to get to bed.  You look really tired," I told him.  "Let's go back to the chair."
He was silent the whole way up to the chair, picking up the conversation again when we got back.
"I am tired, but I'm staying up with you until you feel better about things."  He said adamantly, sitting down.
I melted a tiny bit at that.  "I'm fine.  Well...as fine as I'm going to be right now, over this!  Ugh...I just...I can't believe this."
He chuckled.  "Yeah," he reached to hold me in his arms again, so I sat, reaching to kiss his cheek before resting my head on his shoulder.  And that's the last thing I remember.

Moving Day...Ick!!!

Hey everyone....so I posted about yesterday's events earlier today, so if you wanna read that, too, click HERE.    If you don't read that, you might be a bit confused.  :D

(I snitched this pic off of Tangled Fan to show you all.  She made us pose all happy and nice for a pic for her doll blog... that group pose didn't last long. xD)
So today, apparently Tangled Fan decided it was time to turn her entire room upside down.  Again...Sigh.
Soo....with that, we had to go back to the dresser.  And apparently, we're staying.
Now...that would be pretty wonderful...If we were alone.  But we're not.
There is no privacy.  Eugene, Pascal, and I are currently with Piper, Emma, Punzie, Zelia, Anna, Elsa, Hans, and Kristoff.  Mmmhmmm.
Let's just say that Punzie is NOT amused about Pascal's return, but oh well - what's she gonna do about it, exactly?  I'll just keep an extra careful eye on him!  And Zelia's not pleased about having to share her display location with Eugene, but, again, what's she going to do about it, exactly?  We have nowhere else to go!
So, yeah.  After yesterday's...interesting little spat between Anna and I, being on the dresser with all of them is really...really...REALLY uncomfortable.  Plus, I can't hardly even STAND to hear Anna fighting with Elsa!  Elsa doesn't deserve this.  :\
After several hours of hearing Anna and Elsa fighting, Punzie throwing around insults, and Zelia grumping about Eugene being here, I was about to go postal on everyone.  Eugene acted as if we were, like, joined at the hip or something...not sure if he was being shy, if he was truly terrified of the other girls (which, I can't blame him, really), or if he felt I needed a bodyguard in case World War Three broke out.
Around four, though, we decided to head out of there for awhile.  In order to get to the floor, we had to jump onto Tangled Fan's bed, climb off of it onto a trunk, and then FINALLY land on the floor.  When we got down to the floor, I set Pascal on my shoulder and turned to Eugene.
"Oh.  My.  Goodness."  I groaned, rolling my eyes.
"I know.  It was starting to really, really get to me."  He chuckled, and I nodded.
"I really hope we aren't stuck up here long.  Like...I don't think I'll handle it well."
He nodded, but then he laughed suddenly.  "You looked like you were about to grab Anna and Punzie and smack their heads together or something."
"Not saying the thought didn't cross my mind," I played along, giggling as I thought of that mental image.
He chuckled.  "But yeah. I'm hoping we're not staying there long.  No way would we be able to have any kids up there in THAT environment!"
Oh good grief, no way would I stand for that! "Ummm, yeah, no.  Why does Tangled Fan have to go and change stuff around all the time?!" I loosed a defeated huff.
"I know."  He said.  We were quiet for a few minutes, just walking, but then he suddenly pulled me close, tucking me under his arm and kissing my hair.
Laughing with surprise, I put my arm around him in return, looking up to ask what that was for.
"I've been wanting to do that all day."  He chuckled, his face getting red.
I grinned.  Before I thought of something awkward.  "Where will we...sleep...tonight?  This month of just being with you has really spoiled me.  I don't wanna go back to sleeping on the same display shelf as half a zillion others."
He laughed.  "We'll figure something out.  But you'll have to control that chameleon of yours.  He'll be likely to get up in the middle of the night to wreak havoc."
I giggled, even though I could totally see him doing that, and then we just talked for awhile, before we headed up and tried to figure out what to do for slumber tonight.
Bleagh.  I guess I'll talk to you guys again to let ya know how things are doing up here....If you don't hear from me within a week or so, they probably ate me alive or something!  =D

Sisterly Tensions...

Hey everyone!  Sorry I haven't posted in forever... :(  I wanted to spend the rest of my first week as a wife with Eugene, without the computer and such...last weekend, the internet was down to boot.    And this week has been pretty boring.  But regardless...
Apparently, ever since last Thursday, Anna's been blathering nonstop about Kristoff.  (Of course, only when he's not around)....and tensions have been growing between her and Elsa.  And there's something going on with Zelia.  I don't know what, but there IS.  I just know there is...but I don't want to talk to her enough to find out what the issue is.

But regardless.
Eugene and I were just relaxing around today, listening to the wind howling, and I was playing with Pascal, when someone knocked on the side of the shelf.  Eugene stood up quickly, before I could even set Pascal on my shoulder, and told whoever it was to come in.
It was Elsa.
I hadn't seen her since...well, probably since the wedding, almost two weeks ago!
"Hey, Elsa!"  I exclaimed excitedly, standing up to give her a quick welcome hug.  But when I pulled away, I saw her face was distraught.
"Hey, Rapunzel...and hey, Eugene.  How's married life, girl?"  She asked me.
"It's pretty great.  But I get a sneaking suspicion that you didn't come down to listen to how my married life has been thus far, right?"  I asked, curious as to what was up.  "Zelia and Punzie being...Zelia and Punzie?"
"No."  She sighed, giving up on her attempt to appear fine, and I gestured for her to sit down.  "It's Anna."
"She's quite pleased with her relationship with Kris, isn't she?"  Eugene asked, chuckling as he came to stand beside me.
"A little too pleased.  I mean, I'm happy for her, but good grief.  He hasn't even proposed, it's not like anything's written in stone, but she's just constantly going on and on and on about him!  When he's not around, of course, but still!"  She sighed in obvious aggrivation.
"Well...you two aren't fighting over it, are you?"  I asked, almost afraid of her response.
"Yes.  We just...fought, and I just had to come down here.  It's too tense up there.  And she even told me that she wasn't surprised if I'd NEVER get married, because ...because of how I am."  She grumbled.
Well then.
"I'm sure she was just upset.  When she gets upset, she says things she probably should keep to herself.  You know yourself that she probably doesn't mean that-"
"But it's true.  Kristoff is - obviously - spoken for, and Hans is completely and utterly twitterpated over Piper.  And that's the entire male doll population around here!" Elsa explained.
"Things will work out if they're meant to work out, Elsa," I told her, reaching to pat her shoulder. "I mean, look at Eugene and I.  If we can-"
"Yeah.  You and Eugene.  You and, you and, you and.  And then there's me.  Thanks for the talk, I gotta go."
And with that, she just stood up and left.
We stared blankly at each other for a few seconds.
"Well, uh...what just happened?"  I finally asked.
"I'm not entirely sure," was my husband's answer, as he glanced back towards the deck.
"All I know is that was a major fail.  I was just trying to give her an analogy on how if WE could end up together, anything can happen..." I groaned.
He nodded. "Her emotions and nerves are probably really raw right now, so she probably doesn't even know what she wants right now."
I nodded.  "Ugh.  Am I being a bad individual if I say that I'm glad we're not up on that shelf?"
He laughed.  "Nnnot necessarily..With those two, a twitterpated Hans and Piper, and Zelia and Punzie up there..., and Anna and Kristoff...and Emma...things are probably really interesting.  And not in a good way."
I nodded.  "Agreed.  Should I maybe try to go up there and...mediate?"
His eyes widened.  "Good grief, hon.  No.  We haven't been married two weeks yet, I'd like to keep you around a bit longer than that...and that'd be like walking into the middle of a pack of...of cougars or something!"
"Cougars don't travel in packs," I said, even though I started giggling at the thought.
He chuckled.  "Well..you get the gist."
"Yes, I do.  I'd be dead meat," I laughed.
"Mhm."  He agreed.  "Things will sort themselves out."
I knew that.  But I'm just worried that things WON'T, and that Anna and Elsa's sisterly relationship would be ruined.  =[  Oh boy.  Well...we'll see how things turn out...!
